Puerto Salinas red wine is elaborated with the combination of the Monastrell and Alicante Bouschet native grapes and also the Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot foreign gapes.
Fresh red, fruity, slightly spicy with good structure and balance.
The vineyards are old vineyards located in the north of Alicante where almond trees, olive trees and vineyards coexist in harmony. A wonderful enclave, where is the largest salt mine in Europe.
Manual harvesting in boxes with strict selection in winery. Cold pre-fermentive maceration at 7 ° C for 3 days and post-fermentation for 20 days with temperature control (26-28 ° C). Malolactic and subsequent aging of 12 months in French oak barrels.
