The entrepreneur Cristina Rodríguez, finalist of ‘Desafío Mujer Rural 2018’ with her most personal project, launches her second harvest of sweet icewine M de Alejandría, from Teulada.

Cristina Rodríguez at the head and her team Ximo and Dani Cabrera, fourth and fifth generation of Uvas Cabrera de Benissa, in charge of all the pampering of the vineyard, as well as, Daniel Belda, winemaker and viticulturist, have gone a step further in the elaboration of a sweet wine, so rooted in this region, as is the M de Alejandría wine, where tradition and innovation are combined.

The M de Alejandría wine project was born four years ago and in 2017, after its first harvest, it went on the market with 1,200 bottles of ice wine in a limited and numbered series. From the first moment they have wanted to take care of all the details to the maximum, from the planting, to the elaboration and presentation of the bottle, creating a wine with its own identity. Cristina Rodríguez explains: “I am very respectful of traditions but I think that innovation is essential, besides, I am convinced that one of the keys to success is differentiation. That is why we decided to work with a unique variety to make a unique wine, an ice wine made through a freezing process carried out in the winery itself.”

Undoubtedly, a unique, special wine, from a small plot and made with all the love for the land and her roots, those of Cristina Rodríguez, which she has been able to feel in her home environment since she was a child.

Sweet icewine M de Alejandría can be purchased through our online store, and we ship throughout mainland Spain.

We hope you enjoy this unique wine!
