Salze Monastrell is a local wine made 100% with Monastrell grape variety from El Salze town in the mountain of Alicante.
The vineyards are from 40 to 60 years old and very low production per vineyard. The vineyards are planted at a high altitude (630 meters) and Mediterranean mountain climate.
Respect for the identity of the Monastrell has led to a winemaking with very mild maceration in stainless steel and a subsequent aging in French oak of 500 liters and slow light toasting.
