Bocopa Winery continues the large tradition of Fondillón wine, which brought the name of Alicante around the world five hundred years ago. The Fondillón of Alicante was a wine of Kings.

Fondillón Laudum comes from old Monastrell vines, whose small and sweet grapes were harvested very ripe in 1988.

Fondillón Laudum has aged around 29 years in 1,500 liter oak barrels. This wine requires a minimum aging of ten years in oak barrels.

Tasting

Colour: This wine is limpid and bright with a medium layer. It has a beautiful mahogany colour with amber edges.

Nose: Very complex and aromatic intensity. There are a different notes such as dried fruits, dried figs, tobacco and toasted wood.

Palate: The palate offers a slightly sweet attack perfectly balanced by its good acidity.

Gastronomy: Excellent for appetizers. For example: dried and salted tuna, blue cheeses or foie. Also, for deserts with nougat or sweets with almonds.

Temperature served: Between 16º-18º
