To use the credit or debit card through the virtual POS or secure payment gateway of the bank CAIXABANK, with which we work, the buyer must fill in some fields indicating the card number, expiration date of the card and security code (CVV).

Visa and MasterCard have developed a system for secure online payments. The Secure Electronic Commerce system is based on the card issuer (bank) identifying the cardholder before authorizing payment over the Internet.

ALICANTE DELICATESSEN is adhered to this security protocol through the SSL electronic certificate. Your card details and password are protected by this security system from the moment they are entered.

Once the identification is completed, the Issuer informs ALICANTE DELICATESSEN that the purchase is being made by the cardholder, so that it can complete the process. If the identification has not been satisfactory, the Issuer informs ALICANTE DELICATESSEN to proceed accordingly.

This window is beyond the control of ALICANTE DELICATESSEN, being the responsibility of the Issuer any incident that may arise with it, and should contact that entity if you find yourself in this situation.

We will begin to process the order as soon as we have proof in our account of the payment made by the buyer. The usual time that the transfer can take is between 1 and 4 working days from the moment it is made. ALICANTE DELICATESSEN only ships its products to: Mainland Spain, Balearic Islands, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Austria, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Finland, Croatia and Greece. It will not be possible to make the purchase process through the Web Site to destinations other than those indicated.

ALICANTE DELICATESSEN does NOT ship products to the Spanish autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla and the Canary Islands, as well as the European country of the United Kingdom.

The purchase of products on the website is subject to the payment of shipping costs, at the buyer’s expense.

Shipping costs will depend on the destination and the amount of the basket of products purchased according to the indicative table below. In any case, the actual shipping costs will be detailed throughout the purchase process and the buyer will have the opportunity to review these costs before finalizing your purchase. ALICANTE DELICATESSEN cannot be held responsible for any delay in the delivery of orders for reasons not directly attributable to ALICANTE DELICATESSEN, acts of God or force majeure.

The above shipping costs include, in addition to the transportation of the products, their packaging in boxes specially designed for transporting bottles and other products, insurance against loss or breakage, as well as VAT.

The delivery of orders will be made at the delivery address freely designated by the user. ALICANTE DELICATESSEN not assume any responsibility when the delivery of the product does not take place as a result of the inaccuracy or falsity of the data provided by the user for this purpose, as well as in the event that the delivery can not be made for reasons beyond ALICANTE DELICATESSEN, such as the absence of the recipient at the delivery address.

In case of absence of the recipient and whenever possible, a note of passage will be left with the necessary information to arrange a new delivery at the address of the recipient or the necessary indications for him to go to pick up the product at a certain place. In any case, after 7 days from the last delivery attempt without being able to deliver the order, it will be returned to origin and the contract will be terminated. Transport costs incurred in the non-delivery of the order for reasons beyond the control of Alicante Delicatessen and directly attributable to the buyer will be borne by the buyer.

All receipts must be made in the presence of the carrier and the contents must be checked before signing the carrier’s delivery note and any anomalies must be noted on the delivery note. You must also confirm these reservations to the carrier within 48 hours of delivery and send us a copy.
